Working harrrrd!

Hey Hey!

I just wanted to update you about what’s been going on lately. If you follow me on Facebook or Twitter you’re probably aware that I’ve been in the studio a lot, writing new music and such. I’m really lucky to be working with really (and I mean REALLY) talented people, developing new ideas and new sounds, so the past few months have been really productive and we’re all super happy with the results. EXCITING TIMES GUYS!!!

A lot of you ask me when my music is going to be available for download / when I’ll have an album out - I don’t have an answer for you just yet, but hopefully soon. Right now we’re really focused on getting the right songs together and working towards a sound we’re happy with. We’ve made huge advances in this area lately, so we’re definitely moving in the right direction. It’s just not something that happens overnight and it requires trying different stuff to see what works and what doesn’t, what we like and don’t, etc. It takes a little time, but I’m fully committed to it…absolutely 100% focused on nothing but music, so I promise it’s going to be worth the wait.

That being said, I’m obviously super eager to show you the new songs. They’re sounding awesome - quite different from everything you’ve heard from me up to now, but in a good way. I think the music I’m creating now is much more mature and ‘full-circle’, so to speak. For me as an artist it’s been incredible to see myself evolve and improve in ways that I would’ve never imagined just a few months ago. The musicians I’ve been working with, as well as my management, have been of vital importance in this aspect, so I’m very thankful and blessed to be surrounded by unbelievably competent people!

So that’s more or less it guys! I’ll be uploading new videos to my YouTube page within the following months, while I’m working on everything else. I’m going to be recording an acoustic performance of ‘Born Broken’ a song I wrote with Charlie Grant and Duck Blackwell. We’re filming that at Sony here in London and it should be out early next month. So look forward to that, it’s going to be SWEETNESS!
